As part of the work they do, solicitors at serious injury firm Potter Rees Dolan regularly help people who have severe physical disabilities. After many conversations with their clients about accessibility issues in UK city centres, the firm commissioned a documentary to investigate and raise awareness of the accessibility problems that need addressing if we are to have a truly inclusive society. A solicitor at the firm, accompanied Sara, a wheelchair user with EDS (Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome), around the city centre and filmed the various obstacles they encountered. Potter Rees Dolan is now sharing the documentary urging councillors and MPs to address the issue and give able-bodied people a glimpse into the challenges disabled people face when trying to spend an afternoon in a modern UK city centre.
