Gloucestershire House Tri Together London 2014 hero Robert James, Rina Asumets, Adam Collings, Paul Shipski ,Nicky Reed , Mary Hayward, Joe Davies and Claire JudgeTriathletes, families and friends came together yesterday for a celebration of inclusive sport at our award-winning short distance triathlon Tri Together London.

More than 350 competitors from across the UK got in gear to swim, cycle and run raising funds for Leonard Cheshire Disability.

Tri Together returned for its fourth year to the leafy surroundings of Crystal Palace Park. The Bill star Graham Cole, best known for playing PC Tony Stamp, rallied competitors and spectators with his commentary.

Individuals, teams and under-16s completed their triathlons with first class performances. Teams of staff and residents from Gloucestershire House also took part. They celebrated as they ran over the finish line together to cheers bathed in sunshine.

Team member Nick Howorth said:

‘I have trained for three a half months now all the hard work has paid off, it was hot out there. The atmosphere was incredible and we were pleased to reach the finish line.’

Thanks to everyone who made the day such a success.
