Maison des Landes offers accessible holidays in the beautiful island of Jersey just off the coast of Normandy, France. The hotel is very kindly offering one lucky reader a six night stay for two people, with transport to the island by ferry included courtesy of Condor Ferries.

Travelling from either Weymouth or Poole, you will enjoy a comfortable journey onboard one of Condor’s modern, well equipped fast ferries as you cross the Channel to your destination. Staff will do their upmost to meet the special requirements of disabled passengers or those with mobility impairments, giving you peace of mind you will enjoy a relaxing journey. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner in the café, or visit the onboard bureau de change or duty free while en route.

When you arrive in Jersey, a representative from Maison des Landes will greet you at the harbour and will take you to the hotel for no extra charge. They will also provide return transport to the harbour at the end of your visit for free.

Maison des Landes is a charitable trust set up by the Lions Club of Jersey to provide holidays for people with disabilities along with their families, friends and carers. The hotel is home to 26 fully accessible bedrooms, each with a hoist and walk in/wheel in shower, as well as a TV and tea and coffee facilities. Each room is also fitted with emergency call buttons. A range of other specialist equipment is also available for guests to use.

Whether you want to relax in the sunshine or take in the local sights, Maison des Landes is the ideal location to enjoy your holiday in Jersey. The hotel offers free sight-seeing tours for guests, visiting all the major holidays attractions and shopping the island has to offer in specially equipped mini buses and then relax back at the hotel and enjoy the evening entertainment on offer such as bingo, karaoke and quiz nights. Guests can also take the opportunity to enjoy a dip in the hotel’s large indoor heated swimming pool, specially designed with wheelchair ramps and hoists for ease of access and exit. The hotel staff are available to assist guests into and out of the pool.

Terms and conditions
The prize consists of six nights accommodation in a twin room (breakfast, packed lunch and evening meal included) plus two return tickets to travel from Poole or Weymouth to Jersey with standard car/SUV. Vehicle size: length to 5m, height to 1.85m. Extra length or height may incur charges. Trailers, caravans and motorhomes excluded. Allocated standard seating is included for fast ferry travel. Upgrades to Reclining seats or Club Class seating are available but must be paid for at the time. Prize must be taken between mid-April and mid-October in 2014. Dates subject to availability. Travel on Saturdays from 26th July to 30th August 2014 is excluded. Transport to and from UK ferry port is the responsibility of the winner. The prize is non transferable nor can any cash alternative be offered. Closing date for entries is 31st May 2014.
