I Need a Holiday Too is based in the beautiful pink granite coast of Brittany in a small town called La Roche Derrien in France. The accommodation comprises six accessible apartments in a converted and renovated cotton mill that dates back to the 1880s.

Based on the banks of the River Jaudy, each apartment has two bedrooms, an accessible bathroom and an open plan kitchen, dining area and lounge with large, low windows offering stunning views of the accommodation’s extensive garden and the river itself.

The accessible bathrooms all have level access showers with wheeled shower chairs. A variety of equipment is available if required including hoists, shower chairs, specialist beds and specialist mattresses. Personal support workers are also available to provide any assistance required, as well as an adapted accessible vehicle with a driver to allow you to enjoy all the surrounding area has to offer.

Each apartment has access to English satellite television and free Wi-Fi is available in the accommodation and within the grounds. There is also a communal library where guests can borrow books and games. The garden has a children’s play area and terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbeque for those beautiful sunny evenings.

The accommodation is just ten minutes from the Breton beaches, several towns and attractions, making this the ideal location to relax in the beautiful surroundings or get out and enjoy everything Brittany has to offer.

The prize consists of seven nights accommodation in an accessible apartment on a self-catering basis for four people. Equipment, support and transport available at an additional charge.
