British Blind Sport NGB Liaison Officer
Salary: £24,000- £26,000 per annum
Based at British Blind Sport Offices, Warwickshire (current remote home working in light of Covid-19).
Hours of Work: Full time/37½ hours per week.
Contract Status: Fixed-term 3 year full-time contract until the 31st of March 2024.
Annual Leave: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays per annum. The holiday year is from 1st January to 31st December.
Based in: Leamington Spa, Warwickshire (current remote home working in light of Covid-19).

We are looking for a committed individual to work alongside and strengthen our relationship with NGBs. As the NGB Liaison Officer, you’ll ensure that visually impaired people have the opportunity to take part in sport. The role is part of the See Sport Differently Project, a collaborate project in partnership with the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB).

For the past 3 years, SMV has successfully supported Young Leaders in developing life skills to increase their confidence and enhance their future employment prospects. The programme has recently been selected to participate in a new development project funded by Sport England.

The Delivery Officer will be responsible for coordinating and assisting with the delivery of the See My Voice programme (SMV). For the past 3 years, SMV has successfully supported Young Leaders in developing life skills to increase their confidence and enhance their future employment prospects. The programme has recently been selected to participate in a new development project funded by Sport England. The successful candidate will work alongside the SMV Lead Officer to support up to 35 BPSP between the ages of 10-20 to achieve a bespoke leadership qualification.
