As the spooky season befalls us this October, we want to highlight some of the amazing disabled creators who have the Halloween season covered for you.
This list is currently just a snapshot of some of the creators we have found on Etsy, but we want to continue to add to this list to help showcase the amazing talents of the disabled community, so if you know of a disabled artist or creator who is making spooky items this year please email us at ros@2apublishing.co.uk, so we can add them to this article and help steer some customers their way!
Halloween Autistic and Chronic Illness Care Package
Chronic Kali has created a Halloween-themed treat box, designed specifically for people living with chronic illness and autism – you can tailor your package to include the most relevant theme of stickers and products, and there is also a personalisation option too. These care packages are a perfect gift for a friend and they include: Halloween communication card, whiteboard pen with eraser, two Halloween squishie fidget toys, fidget ring, lots of spooky stickers for spoonies and neurodivergents, ratty and pumpking bookmark, pumpkin gel pen, handful of spiders and Halloween confetti, packet of sweets, and a tea light.
Spooky Spoonie Pin
We are loving this adorable spooky, limited edition pin from Chronically Divine. This sparkly enamel pin is the perfect addition for any spoonie looking to accessorise their outfit and spread a little spoonie awareness at the same time! Each pin is handmade, which makes every pin unique in its shimmery look, so you can feel extra special knowing no-one else has a pin exactly like yours. They are limited edition, so hurry if you want one in time for Halloween!
Pocket sensory ghost
This is perhaps the cutest ghost you will come across this Halloween, and he can live in your pocket providing the perfect spooky sensory fulfilment whenever you need it. Made by Gay Toads, these ghosts are all handmade so their appearance may differ slightly between each of them, but that just adds to their unique quality, ensuring you have your own soft, fiddly, squishy ghost friend to keep in your pocket or handbag.
Inclusive Halloween t-shirt
This t-shirt is classically inclusive and funny. Spread the word on what is actually spooky this Halloween and help destigmatise disability while wearing it. Available in a whole range of colours, you will find a style to suit you. The t-shirts are unisex and available in sizes small – 3XL, the fabric is soft and they include tear away labels too. Flula By Angeline is based in America so delivery will take longer, but you can always keep it for next year if it doesn’t come in time for Halloween!
Halloween Trick or Treat PECS
Fidget and Stims have designed a set of picture cards specifically to help autistic people when they go trick or treating. The cards help the user explain that they have autism and may struggle with communication, allowing an inclusive and comfortable experience for all. This ensures many kids won’t miss out on the fun and excitement of trick or treating on Halloween this year – and especially the sweets and treats they can collect!

Choose from handmade pretty pumpkin necklaces, fluorescent green skull earrings or our personal favourite – a ghost pin with a speech bubble pin saying “Boo”!
