Nutley edge is a self-catering holiday site owned by Outward, a London based charity. We also run specialist activity breaks for people with learning disabilities or Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
Nutley edge sits within Ashdown Forest and is very close to Nutley village, where you will find a couple of great restaurants and a small convenience store.
The nearby towns of Forest Row and Uckfield are an excellent choice for coffee shops, restaurants and tea rooms. Uckfield has the nearest supermarket.
For serious shopping you may want to visit Tunbridge Wells, East Grinstead, Brighton or Eastbourne, which are all a short drive away.
You can find lots of local attractions for all ages and abilities within a 40 minute drive.
Onsite we have a 17th Century farmhouse and 12 cottages two of which are specially designed for wheelchair access.
Sycamore and Alder our wheelchair access cottages have a fully-accessible single bedroom and wet room on the ground floor, along with an open plan kitchen, lounge/diner. The downstairs bedroom has a fully height adjustable electric bed, with the second bedroom on the first floor which can be laid out as a super king bed or twin dependant on your needs.
The two accessible cottages are located around Nutley Edge’s central courtyard, where you have direct access to a charming private outdoor seating area, perfect for an evening drink.
What’s included: Fridge with icebox, electric cooker, hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle, ironing board and iron, and cutlery/cooking utensils, bed linen, towels, free guest WIFI and heating. No smoking in the cottages.
Pets welcome with a charge of £25 per dog. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times around the site
