An overweight childminder in Denmark is calling for employers across Europe to treat obesity as a disability.  Karsten Kaltoft brought a discrimination case against his bosses at a council after they sacked him for being unable to carry out his role.

The council cited an incident where Mr Kaltoft asked a colleague to help him tie up his shoelaces.

The case, being heard at the European Court of Justice, could have implications for employers across the UK, forcing them to change the way they deal with overweight staff and the support they provide.

Dr Rosemary Leonard and discrimination lawyer Audrey Williams discussed the issue with BBC Breakfast presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt.
