The managing directors of two of the UK’s leading mobility equipment providers have joined a new expert panel, aiming to offer advice and support to individuals with mobility equipment quandaries.
Patrick Stannah, the managing director of the family owned Stannah Stairlift firm, was the first major industry figure to join the panel. With years of experience at the helm of one of the world’s top mobility equipment companies, Mr Stannah could not be in a better position to offer advice and help to those who need it most.
Mr Stannah was soon joined by Graham Billcliffe, the MD of Cheltenham based Horizon Mobility. An expert in a wide range of mobility equipment, and well versed in the mobility aid hiring process, Mr Billcliffe brings a vital extra dimension to the panel.
The panel is completed by Jason Tate, the director of Help My Mobility, the online mobility equipment resource which will host the expert panel. Mr Tate was keen to assemble the expert team as a way to improve the usefulness of Help My Mobility’s service to its visitors;
“We’re constantly looking for ways to further develop our service in order to make it as effective as possible as far as our users are concerned,” he said.
“One of the key tenets of our site is its transparency, and easy manner in which its information can be accessed. By creating an Ask The Expert panel, we are able to streamline our user experience even further, giving them direct access to some of the most knowledgeable figures in the industry.”
The panel has already received excellent feedback from Help My Mobility’s users, who are taking advantage of the opportunity to put their burning questions directly to some of the industry’s leading brains.
Peter Goodhew, a mobility scooter user from Southampton, Hants, described how useful the Ask An Expert panel was to his mobility equipment search;
“Having a facility like this is undoubtedly a great idea,” he said.
“Being able to quickly put your question to an expert, before receiving a prompt reply, really speeds up the process.”
