Win A Luxury Glamping Adventure!

2Classic Glamping are offering PosAbility readers the unmissable opportunity to win a three night break in a luxury accessible glamping unit in Devon, for up to six people.

If you are unfamiliar with the concept of ‘glamping’, it is basically camping for those who do not want to rough it in any way but do want to experience the outdoors. With Classic Glamping you get the best of the great outdoors, but with all the creature comforts you’d expect from a luxurious holiday home and Classic Glamping is extremely proud to present its first accessible safari tents.
Luxury Glamping at Hannah’s at Seale Hayne

Up in the treetops, with fabulous views over the glorious Devon countryside, sits Fir Tree Lodge and Birch Tree Lodge on the site at Seale Hayne, which is owned and run by the Dame Hannah Rogers Trust, a charity devoted to providing cultural, educational and physical support for disabled or disadvantaged children and adults. sp1

Gated from the main site for privacy, these two tents are side by side, each in its own private space, but sharing a play area that features two hanging tree pods. Access to the tents is either from the back or via a shared, sloping wooden walkway that splits left and right at the top (fully wheelchair-accessible). Step inside the tents and prepare to be wowed, kitted out in rustic-chic style. There’s a sofa and a rocking chair in the living area, where there is also a wood-fired range for cooking and heating (with logs provided). A single-ring gas camping stove on the balcony is the chef’s back-up, while in the open-plan kitchen area there is a Belfast sink (hot and cold water), wooden cupboards, dresser and fridge. At one end of the tent are the bedrooms, a double and a bunk-bed room, and a double den-bed in the main living area. Still within the safari tent is a wet room with plenty of hot water and a separate cloakroom with flushing toilet and wash-basin.

There is plenty to do on site without having to venture too far. A licensed bistro for lunch or dinner, a hydrotherapy pool, beauty treatments, live music, outdoor pursuits, cycling, horse-riding and all sorts of other activities are available to keep you amused.
