19092505593_0f44d1dedf_oIT’s already been a busy day at Day Four of the IPC Swimming World Championships.

Straight away we had Belarusian Ihar Boki off to a great start in the heats for Men’s 400m Freestyle S13 after setting his second World Record of the Championships last night in the men’s 100m backstroke S13, grabbing Gold in the process.

It was also a fantastic morning for Ukraine, qualifying top of six races in total, with one setting a world record in the process. Yelyzaveta Mereshko landed a new Record in the Women’s 50m Freestyle S6 heats, with her team mate, Viktoriia Savtsova also grabbing the Championship Record in the process.

After also grabbing the Gold in last night’s nail-biting Finals, Daniel Dias again came out top of the Men’s 50m Butterfly S5 heats, again beating GB Andrew Mullen to it.

Dutch Summer Mortimer broke another World Record, a title which she already claimed during London 2012, in the 200m Backstroke S10. GB’s Alice Tai took second position in the same race.

Reigning champ, Australian Maddison Elliott also came up top on the 100m Freestyle S8, with her team mate coming in second to grab the second position.
