Today sees that start of the Sainsbury’s Anniversary Games taking place in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Olympic athletes, including Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and Greg Rutherford will take centre stage on 24th and 25th before the final leg of the IPC Grand Prix series is held in the Stadium on Sunday 26th, which is National Paralympic Day. This will see Paralympic stars David Weir and Johnny Peacock competing back on the track where they secured gold medals at the 2012 Paralympic Games.
