The third generation SEAT Leon is a stylish, practical family car that offers a comfortable and economical drive. With streamlined body, metallic finish and 16” alloy wheels, the Leon’s exterior is attractive to the eye and has a more sporty feel than some of its similar sized competitors. We took a look at the 5dr SE 1.6TDI with Technology Pack, which provides satellite navigation, DAB radio and full LED headlights in addition to a number of other great features the model has to offer.
Smooth and responsive, the Leon offers an enjoyable driving experience both in and out of the city. The car is equipped with a number of features that enhance your driving as well as your safety on the road. Power steering offers good control, while the Hill Hold Control feature helps with smoother hill starts. Full LED headlights can be complemented by optional High Beam Assist, which automatically alters the intensity of the headlights when faced with oncoming traffic, with the aid of a mono-video camera installed on the windshield. There’s also the Lane Assist feature, which warns you if you unintentionally drift into another lane and automatically corrects the car’s trajectory.
The Leon features modern Start/Stop technology. The engine shuts down when you’re at a standstill so for city drivers who are often stuck in traffic, this system will help to cut not only your emissions but also your fuel bills.
