MT_group_trail_ride_1Mountain Trike announce launch of Scottish Experience Centre.

Last year we launced our first Experience Centre (EC) with Pedalabikeaway,  www.pedalabikeaway.co.uk, who are a Mountain Bike Trail Centre based in the Forest of Dean.  Following the success of this centre we are delighted to announce the launch of our Scottish Mountain Trike Experience Centre in partnership with Progression Bikes, www.progressionbikesscotland.com.

A quick word from our leader Tim Morgan, ‘there are many exciting opportunities at our EC’s, you can try out a Mountain Trike supervised by a fully accredited demonstrator who can talk you through the features and operations while you have a ride.  Alternatively you can hire a trike for half a day or longer and enjoy some of the amazing local trails.  A fully accredited demonstrator will be able to explain how to ride and make any adjustments for your hire period before setting off on your adventure.  You can also buy a Mountain Trike via the Experience Centres and fully trained staff can guide you through the ordering process.  Another option is that if you are already a Mountain Trike owner all our EC’s are fully accredited service centres and are able to provide a full range of maintenance and after sales help’.

Adam Flint, Proprietor of Progression Bikes says, ‘We are the main Scottish Mountain Trike Experience Centre and Representatives and attend various events around Scotland showcasing the Mountain Trike.  It is such a fantastic piece of equipment that everyone that has seen it and tried it can see the appeal and its benefits.  From disabled shooting and fishing groups to school children that just want to get around site, it has been great to help everyone access the outdoors.  We feel that it fits in very well with the other products and services that we offer here at Progression Bikes, we have a hire fleet of bikes, trailers and child seats to enable the whole family to get out and about.  As well as uplifts, guiding and coaching we have mobile skills courses that we take to other venues, such as schools, cycling shows and outdoor festivals.  It is great to be able to take Mountain Trike with us as it always draws a crowd and everyone seems to know someone that would benefit! It would be great to include them in events, races and expeditions in the future and we have been talking to event organisers about this for 2014’.

Tim goes on to say, ‘the plan is to eventually have a number of centres geographically located around the UK and it is great to have these two centres on-board which provide fantastic facilities offering customers and Trike users the opportunity to enjoy the great outdoors’.
