The VW Caravelle offers superb levels of comfort, and is a truly flexible people carrier that provides style and comfort. The SE specifications include plenty of added features as standard such as electrically adjustable door mirrors, electric windows, remote locking, a range of innovative radio and infotainment systems, climatic air conditioning, cruise control and elegantly sculpted luxurious swivelling middle seats to name a few.
With the option of a front, middle or rear wheelchair position, this car can accommodate your every need. The adjustable chair positions allow conversation and interaction between passengers and for side access, the VW Caravelle features a slim side lift that discreetly fits under the side of the car. Alternatively, there is a rear access tail lift or lowered floor, lowering suspension, and innovative TorSpring® Ramp rear access options. The Caravelle Executive comes with a six-speed manual gearbox, with an easy-to-reach dash-mounted gear lever or users can opt for the convenience of the seven-speed, Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG). There are two different wheelbases (SE only), and a choice of two advanced TDI diesel engines and two superb spec trims: the SE and the Executive.
The award-winning SEAT Alhambra MPV wheelchair accessible vehicle offers a superb combination of sportiness yet with an environmental conscience. It’s practical and good value for money. Headroom for rear seat passengers is exceptional thanks to the lowered floor 1415mm and there are large tinted windows which offer a fantastic eye line with the option of an integral blind for extra privacy for the rear passengers. The Alhambra features a lowered floor and TorSpring® Ramp to ensure entry and exit is as simple as possible and in addition to rear entry, the Alhambra is equipped with two wide side sliding doors as standard.
This Lewis Reed conversion features two fixed seat passenger seats in the rear with a removable middle third seat passenger seat allowing the wheelchair user to sit further forward, to ensure maximum inclusion for the journey.
The Alhambra is available in S, SE, and the high spec SE Lux versions. This is an exceptional vehicle featuring a sleek, aerodynamic design, a suspension system that provides a quiet and smooth drive plus a wealth of innovative safety features fitted as standard including: stability control, tyre pressure-monitoring system and seven airbags, including a driver’s knee bag and curtain airbags that run the full length of the cabin.

The VW Caddy range is versatile and practical ensuring maximum comfort for drivers and wheelchair users of all sizes. Lewis Reed has designed these vehicles to be quieter, smoother and more versatile than any other Caddy conversion currently available. Original VW seating is used as standard in all vehicles. The Flexi-seat® seating system from Lewis Reed retains the original layout of the Volkswagen Caddy and when needed, combinations of seats can fold forward to allow extra room for a travelling wheelchair passenger, empty wheelchair or scooter. Seats can also be removed completely to offer more space if required.
